This 20 VDC max XR® cordless brushless rotary hammer is a high performance masonry drill that is powered by a DeWALT® brushless motor and a powerful hammer mechanism delivering 3.5 j of impact energy. With its balanced design and extreme runtime, this hammer is built for all day use and large diameter hole drilling, even in the hardest concrete. SHOCKS® active vibration Control® system defends the user against exposure to prolonged vibration, reducing vibration felt at the handles. Our patented E-Clutch® system provides enhanced control to the user in a bind up and can help minimize sudden torque reaction compared to standard clutches. The onboard dust extractor features a powerful fan assembly for efficient dust collection during high performance drilling. Drill holes up to 1 in Dia, to depths up to 8 in install large diameter sleeve, stud/wedge and screw anchors. This unit includes an OSHA 1926.1153 compliant dust box assembly. Equipped with a filter cleaning mechanism and a HEPA filter, it removes 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 micron or greater.
